WEEKEND UPDATE FOR December 17-19

FRIDAY

MSU Graduation at JQH arena  begins at 10 am.   More than 1500 students will get their diploma. Two different times. Second ceremony is at 1:30

Tyler Farr at Midnight Rodeo- special guess Kameron Marlowe. Doors open at 7 pm

Candy Cane Lane at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park . Dazzling lights $5.00 per car load. Open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 5-8 pm  weather permitting.

Gardens Aglow at the Japanese Stroll Garden beginning at 5pm until 8:30 pm. Admission $5.00 for adults and 2 for kids 3-12

Christmas Lights of Ozark at the Finley River Park. FREE but donations are accepted. Opens at 5pm

Silver Dollar City “Old Time Christmas” opens at 2 pm-  10  pm

SATURDAY

Santa Train Ride at 10:30 at the Monett South Park Soccer Fields  

Wreaths for Fallen Hero’s 2021 Ceremony and Wreath laying at 1702 E. Seminole cemetery. Volunteers decorate the headstones at the Springfield National Cemetery with a wreath to honor their service and sacrifice. 11 am until 1 pm.  

Northwest Springfield Holiday party at The Fairbanks 1126 N. Broadway. The American Indian Center invites one and all to the party.  Open from 2- 6 pm.   

Parents Night Out at Itty Bitty City begins at 6pm-9 pm- a great way to get those holidays lose ends tied up.  Kids get pizza dinner, crafts, games, and a movie, The cost is $25 per child
