Join Summer and John at Silver Dollar City’s “Old Time Christmas” from 1-3 pm. Kick off your holiday season at the city !
Toy Drive to benefit the Habitat for Humanity. Starting at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 – Families are invited to take drive-thru “Selfies with Santa” from their vehicles following the lighting of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree on South Avenue. Then proceed through the Systematic Savings Bank Drive through to find Santa and Mrs. Claus at the entrance of Hotel Vandivort. Bring a new, unopened, unwrapped children’s toy valued at $10 to donate to local Habitat for Humanity families to donate with our touchless toy drive!
Mayors Lighting of the Christmas tree to Kick off Springfield’s Festival of Lights! You can stay home, you can watch the wonderful show on television or drive downtown, see the lights in person and even see Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus from a safe distance. It starts at 7 pm Watch it on KY3
Mid-Town Fall Cleanup from 6 am until noon. Meet at Cox Hospital North parking lot. There will not be curbside pickup. Extra-large loads may be re directed to the landfill or leaf composting center. Please be prepared to unload your own load or bring your own
Low Cost Drive Thru Pet Vaccine Clinic 9 am – noon at 1720 W. Grand. The Old Pricecutter parking lot. Vaccines are $10 and the dogs must be at least 6 weeks old
The Civil War Lantern Tour at Smallin’ Cave includes dinner. Masks are required in some areas. The tour and dinner will last 3 hours. Cost is 35.00 with limited people on each tour. 6:30-9:30 pm
Pythian Castle Overnight Ghost Hunt 8 pm- 3 am! $ 99 dollars per person. Tickets are limited.
