Change is coming for a couple of Girl Scout cookies!
The Girl Scouts of the USA has announced that the “S’mores” and “Toast-Yay!” cookie flavors will be discontinued after this year’s cookie season.
The decision comes as the organization faces financial challenges, including projected operating losses.
To make up for the losses, the Girl Scouts will be increasing the price of a box of cookies to $7, up from $6 in previous years. The price hike is due to rising production and material costs
The organization will still offer a range of popular flavors, including Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, at booths and online starting February 21.
