Luke Combs announces stadium tour dates for 2022

Following his entertainer of the year win at the CMA Awards, Luke Combs announced several stadium shows for 2022, with Zach Bryan, Cody Johnson and Morgan Wade serving as support. Performance locations include Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High on May 21, Seattle’s Lumen Field on June 4 and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 30.

During his CMA Awards performance, Combs debuted a new song, "Doin' This." He currently has a top 5 hit on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with "Cold As You," which is the seventh single to be released from his What You See Ain't Always What You Get project.

Tickets for the shows will be available for pre-sale starting Wednesday, November 17 at 4:00 p.m. local time through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, with general on-sale Friday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m. local time. For more information, head to www.LukeCombs.com.

Taylor Swift recruits Chris Stapleton for her previously-unreleased single “I Bet You Think About Me”

Taylor Swift has enlisted Chris Stapleton to sing on her recently re-released 2012 album Red (Taylor’s Version) track “I Bet You Think About Me.”

Stapleton provides harmonies and background vocals on “I Bet You Think About Me,” a country ballad about a fame-obsessed Beverly Hills-born ex-beau. Stapleton joins Phoebe Bridgers and Ed Sheeran as guests on Red (Taylor’s Version), which also features an extended, 10-minute long take on the heartbreak anthem “All Too Well.”

Colorado’s Country Jam announces headliners for 2022

Country Jam announced it is returning in June 2022. featuring headliners such as Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Tim McGraw. The three-day music festival will feature more than 20 acts performing June 23-25, 2022, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Other acts on the lineup include Chris Janson, Riley Green, Chris Lane, Blanco Brown, Jo Dee Messina, Lainey Wilson and Runaway June. The exact schedule has yet to be finalized.

Now in its 30th year in Mack, Colorado, Country Jam is billed as Colorado's largest country music and camping fest since it debuted in 1992, and one of the premier country music festivals in the United States. More than 15 of the top country music acts in the nation visit the festival at Jam Ranch outside of Grand Junction each summer.

Festival tickets and camping passes are on sale now at countryjam.com. A three-day general admission ticket costs $145 and a VIP pass costs $745. A three-day camping pass costs $220.

Blake Shelton releases the video for ‘Come Back as a Country Boy’

Blake Shelton has released the official video for his new single, “Come Back As a Country Boy," directed by Sophie Muller.

Shelton says of the visual: “This video is an adventure. But at the end of the day it’s just me, my dog and my truck … and, of course, a beer. It’s me being a country boy in my favorite place on Earth.”

Come Back As a Country Boy was released in October, and is currently rising up the country radio charts as the third single from Shelton’s album Body Language.  Shelton has also shared another track from that project, the song he co-wrote as a wedding gift to his wife, Gwen Stefani, titled “We Can Reach the Stars.”

55th Annual CMA Awards: See The Full List Of 2021 Winners

The 55th Annual Country Music Association Awards were held on Wednesday night from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, hosted by Luke Bryan. Chris Stapleton the big winner of the evening with six trophies, and Luke Combs earning the biggest prize of night, winning 'Entertainer of the Year'.

Stapleton won song of the year and single of the year for "Starting Over" and took album of the year for his record of the same name, walking away with two more trophies as a producer on the single and album.

The Brothers Osborne won vocal duo of the year for the fourth time. Lead singer T.J. Osborne, who came out as gay this year, said: "It's been a roller coaster of a year, especially for me emotionally, and for you all to support me, it's been incredible.

Walker Hayes scores his first No. 1 on country radio with ‘Fancy Like’

Walker Hayes has officially earned his first No. 1 on country radio with his smash hit "Fancy Like."  The mega-hit has spent 17 weeks and counting at the number one spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs, and hit the top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 Songs.  You can watch the video for Fancy Like - here.

Fancy Like made history when it jumped from #17 into the top 10 at country radio back in October, making it the biggest jump into the Top Ten on the Mediabase Country chart in 17 years. Says Hayes: "Country radio, you hung the moon. This is the 'we did it' moment for Laney and me. No matter what I say, you won't be able to know how grateful I am. Thank you for a hundred chances...now I'm Fancy Like #1!"

Thomas Rhett releases his latest single ‘Slow Down Summer’

Thomas Rhett has shared a lyric video for his new single "Slow Down Summer," the first track off Rhett's forthcoming sixth studio album titled "Where We Started," which will be released early next year.

Rhett says of the new song, "I wrote this song from the point of view of two people who are in love during senior year of high school. I envisioned them headed off to different schools and they're starting to understand that the moment the weather starts to change, they've got a 99-percent chance this relationship is not going to work.  I know that myself and a lot of people have been there before, wishing the fireworks stage doesn't have to end."

Randy Travis to release deluxe edition of his classic ‘Old Time Christmas’ album

Randy Travis is ringing in the holidays with the release of An Old Time Christmas (Deluxe Edition) on Nov. 19, featuring three never-before-released songs.

Originally released in 1989, An Old Time Christmas was the first Christmas record Travis ever released. Travis's songs have become Christmas standards, appearing in movie classics like Annabelle’s Wish and A Holiday to Remember.

In addition to the album release, Travis will celebrate his 35th Anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry with a special appearance on Dec. 11. The lineup for that evening’s show also includes Jon Pardi, Old Crow Medicine Show, Carly Pearce and Don Schlitz, with more to be announced. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

Travis Tritt to kick off solo acoustic tour ‘An Evening with Travis Tritt’ in 2022

Travis Tritt will hit the road in 2022 for his solo acoustic tour, An Evening with Travis Tritt. The tour kicks off January 12th in Jackson, TN, will run through the first quarter of next year.  Each show has Tritt sharing personal stories and anecdotes about his life and musical influences, and fans will have the opportunity to experience this special evening featuring him in an intimate solo-acoustic setting.  Tritt will perform some of his biggest hits, including “Anymore,” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive,” and “Best of Intentions,” along with songs off his new album, Set In Stone.

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Paramount+ series '1883,' a prequel to the hit show 'Yellowstone,' has been released (check it out here.)

Married country singers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw star together in 1883 , which follows “the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana.”  In the series, Tim and Faith portray James and Margaret Dutton, the patriarch and matriarch of the Dutton family. Sam Elliott, Billy Bob Thornton, Isabel May, and LaMonica Garrett also star in the upcoming series.

1883 is scheduled to debut on Paramount+ on December 19.
