Expect Windy Conditions, Prompting Fire Danger!

Warm weather temperatures, low humidity, and a south westerly winds will elevate fire risks for the next 48 hours. Counties to the north of Springfield are currently under a "Red Flag Warning" until 6pm. The most significant fire danger is expected on Tuesday where we can expect wind gusts between 35 and 45 mph. Don't burn anything unless absolutely necessary. Fires can get out-of-hand quickly.
