The short-term parking lot at the Springfield-Branson Regional Airport will be closed this week as resurfacing will get underway starting tomorrow. (Wednesday)

A spokesperson from the airport indicates that travelers who are leaving their vehicles, will be directed to use the long-term parking lots.

Don’t worry, if you parked your car in short-term parking and upon returning to the airport you don’t see your vehicle. Chances are it has been moved to the long-term lot.  Signs will direct you on how to find your vehicle.

Airport authorities are stressing that parking spaces should be plentiful, but if the lot does get filled, you may be asked to park in the grass.

Crews will be out resurfacing both lots at various times through the summer months.
