The Dickerson Park Zoo Welcomes Cougar Cub!

You'll soon see a new addition to the animals at the Dickerson Park Zoo. A female cougar cub was found by the Washington Department of FIsh and Wildlife. The little cougar was orphaned and is estimated to be about 4 months old. She has been quarantined and will be soon introduced to an adult female cougar named Cali who also lives at the zoo. Changes Coming To An Old Springfield School!

Look for changes to be made to the former Fairview Elementary school aka the Hillcrest High School annex.  It will soon become the Academy of Exploration. Roadwork On Glenstone Begins Today!

BIG traffic issues expected starting today on Glenstone. The "Glenstone safety, operational, pedestrian and payment project" will start at Stoneridge Drive in northern Springfield and will end at James River Freeway.
