It’s safety first for the first day of school for Springfield kids!

Do watch for kids in your neighborhoods climbing aboard buses, riding bikes or walking to school.

Do slow down in school zones and crosswalks!

Do be extremely careful when posting school pictures of your child online.

Keep details to a minimal. Do NOT take a picture of your child in front of their school. The least amount of information about your child the better. Instead, use trees, bricks, or anything that is not identifiable.

Do communicate with your child about staying aware of their surroundings and people close by.
