The cold weather has hit the Ozarks a little earlier this year, and shelters have not been able to accommodate those in need of a warm place the last two days. However, starting today, November 1, warming shelters will be available if temps drop below 32 in night time hours.

The Crisis Cold Weather shelters open today and will be available for those in need through March 31.

When cold temps are expected, Grace United Methodist Church will open their doors at 5:30 pm. Those in need will be able to have a hot meal and be transported to designated shelters so they have a warm place for the cold night.

Volunteers are needed, as are donations. If you can help  out or need more information go HERE
