CU customers are asked to reduce gas and electric demand during extreme cold weather temperatures.

The extreme temps are impacting the delivery of natural gas delivery to City Utilities.

This is a voluntary measure only.

Here are ways to conserve:

• Limit the use of non-essential appliances and electronics.
• Turn down thermostats and bundle up in warm clothing.
• Minimize the use of heating and lighting in unoccupied rooms.
• Postpone the use of major energy-consuming activities.
