The warm days and cool nights are just screaming for a firepit at night but, you better hold off, at least for now!

 Right now, it’s so dry that grass, leaves and twigs can catch fire pretty quick if an ember from your fire pit pops out of the enclosure.

Area firefighters are saying hold off on burn piles, burning trash, cookouts, and please don’t flick a lit cigarette out the window.

It doesn’t look like we will get any precipitation this week, so the dry tinderbox conditions plus high winds could make a big fire danger across the Ozarks.
