Now that Thanksgiving is over, many people are expected to be coming down with the flu or Covid.
Thanksgiving is notorious for bringing family and friends together in close quarters. The conversations, the hugging, the visiting, and the food preparation may have you swapping germs with your loved ones.
Right now area Springfield hospitals have a low amount of flu and Covid cases however that is expected to rise the first couple of weeks in December.
Wash those hands and a reminder that flu vaccinations are available as are Covid boosters.
Best advice- If you are feeling sick, stay home and don’t spread the illness! Mask up if you must venture out.
