The library book sale is a great way to build your own library with your favorite books, for just pennies on the dollar.

The money raised from the book sale, goes back into the Greene County library community, possibly buying or replace carpet, or installing upgrades to library buildings.

Over 500 volunteers are needed for this big library book sell off.

Book prices vary. Children books start as low as 10 cents while some new best sellers could be $4-5 dollars.

Here is when you can shop at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds 3001 N. Grant, Springfield, Mo.

-Thursday-Friday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

-Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Half-Price Day

-Sunday: 1-5 p.m., $1 and $5 Bag Day
