We are 8 days from Halloween and if your littles are planning on “Trick Or Treating,” safety should come first.

Have your child or children walk with a responsible adult and stay in groups.

Carry a flashlight or glow stick.

Watch for cars, stay on sidewalks, and look before crossing the street.

Examine all treats before the children eat them.

Ask children with masks on, to raise them up while walking, or until they get to the next trick or treat home.

Face painting is a better option than masks for better visibility.

Only “trick or treat” where porch lights are on

Best trick or treating hours 5 pm – 8 pm

Carry a cell phone in case of emergencies
