Long lines may be a thing of the past when it comes to voting at the polls in Greene County.

The Greene County Clerk’s office is looking at several areas to relieve some of the voting congestion on major election days.

Willard may soon get a new polling place option, as well as the communities of Republic, Battlefield and northern Springfield.

Studies and locations are being considered now to relieve some of the voting long lines and wait time.

Once the study’s are completed, the new polling places will be announced.
