It’s that time of the year- Personal Property taxes assessment notices have been mailed out!

Authorities are asking that the information for the property tax assessment be filled out and turned in before the deadline of March 1.

Penalties and fees will be given to those who don’t complete and mail in the assessments on time.

What does the property tax assessment include?  Vehicles, trailers, boats, motorhomes, motorcycles, and livestock.

Money from the collection of personal property taxes goes help fund schools, libraries, health department, ambulance district, and sheltered workshops.
