As 2023 is dwindling down, don’t forget to pay your property taxes on time!

If you haven’t received your tax statement yet, you may have to contact the Greene County Collectors office. Over five thousand letters have been returned to the office, your tax statement could be there.  Keep this in mind, even if you haven’t physically received your tax bill, you are still responsible for paying those taxes before the deadline.

Taxes officially are due on December 31, but since that is a Sunday, your taxes must be postmarked by December 30.  If you wish to pay in person at the Greene County Collectors office, you have until Friday, December, 29 at 5 pm.

If your taxes are not paid before the deadline you will be subject to additional fines and penalties.
