Hey Honda CR-V owners! If your Honda is from the year 2007 to 2011 there is a recall in your future! It seems states that use salt on the roadway can cause the CR-V’s frame to rust and the rear suspensions on your vehicle have parts come lose.
U.S. safety regulators posted that drivers could lose control and crash due to salt that can accumulate and cause corrosion, and the rear trailing arm can detach. Rear trailing arms connect the rear axle to the chassis.
This is a limited recall on Honda CR-V’s. It’s for Honda CR-V’s that are driven in cold states that use salt, such as Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.
