Starting today the mattress recycling fees are up $5.00  at the city’s recycling drop-off sites.

The price per mattress drop off is now $20 dollars.

Due to higher operational cost, the city must pass that increase on to those who are recycling.

Currently the recycling program has contracted the Victory Mission to breakdown, deconstruct and process the raw materials for new construction or even shred into wood mulch.
