The annual tax-free weekend to save BIG money on school supply purchases, is THIS weekend.
The back to school sale tax holiday begins at 12:01 Friday, August 4, and runs through Sunday August 6.
What qualifies for those tax free purchases?
- Clothing that doesn’t have a a taxable value of more than 100 dollars. (Shoes, sandals, boots, disposable diapers, material used for school uniforms and clothing)
- School supplies not exceeding $50 per purchase (pencils, scissors, glue, crayons, papers, notebooks and backpacks)
- Personal Computers and computer software that doesn’t exceed $1500. ( Mouse, modem, scanners, microphones, and video cards)
