Walnut Lawn Funeral Home in Springfield is building a new facility! The new building will host funeral services for pets!

Springfield pet owners have shown an interest in honoring their beloved friend with special pet funeral services.

Both Tulsa, and Kansas City have facilities for pet services, and soon Springfield will too!

The pet funeral home will provide many of the same services as the human one.

Grief and bereavement support, visitation rooms and viewing rooms will be found at the new facility.

A minister will perform the service plus flowers, caskets and urns are all options.

Funeral services for dogs, cats and smaller pets will be welcomed, but the facility is not ruling out bigger animals such as horses or cattle for burials.

Custom caskets will be available and made locally. Prices will vary on each pet service.
