Things to look forward to this month:

• 1. College football’s bowl games begin this weekend, Saturday,  December 16, 2023
• 2. “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is available on-demand starting today, December 13.  In theaters-“Wonka” with Timothée Chalamet opens on December 15.  “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” hits theaters on December 22 alongside the new animated film “Migration.”  On Christmas Day the new musical Adaptation of “The Color Purple, and “Ferrari” starring Adam Driver.
• 3. On December 14, Netflix will release the last six episodes of “The Crown.”  The National Christmas Tree Lighting special on CBS will be this Friday. Plus several other holiday movies and specials through the end of the month.
• 4.  Christmas is December 25, while Hanukkah is underway now through December 15. Kwanzaa and Boxing Day is December 26.  Enjoy a scoop on December 13 with National Ice Cream Day. Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is December 15.  Welcome winter on December 21. Festivus for the rest of us is December 23 and New Years Eve is December 31.
