Safety improvements will get underway on Galloway Street, which is a road in east Springfield.

The city will widen the street to three lanes between Luster and Lone Pine.  It will install a new center turn lane and add roundabouts plus other improvements.

Work will begin this summer. and possible delays can be expected during the road construction.
