If predictions are correct, Flu season in the Ozarks could be a doozy!

Already the Springfield Greene County Health Department has confirmed about 20 flu cases for this first week of flu season.

Flu shots are now available at area pharmacies and many insurance companies will pay for the inoculation.

Flu season begins at the start of October and usually lasts through late March.

Parents be aware that RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is also on the rise. The respiratory virus is very harmful to babies and younger children.
