Before their performance at Bulls, Bands, & Barrels Saturday evening I had the opportunity to hang out with the Flatland Cavalry guys. Having met the band nearly two years ago at the first ever Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma it’s been fun watching this band from Lubbock, Texas get bigger with each passing day. To take what you do to “the next level” in the highly competitive world of country music, you’ve got to be more than great musicians, you’ve got to be “special” and connect with people on a personal level, Flatland Cavalry does exactly that. Take a few minutes and check our conversation from the Green Room at the Great Southern Bank Arena.

After the interview, the guys asked if you bring back my Bloody Mary making mixers and whip up some drinks before the show! I had made the guys a few at the Born & Raised Festival and they have never forgotten them (I do make a mean one) so I ran back to the house and grabbed my stuff and made a round just before they hit the stage!

Their performance was great, as always! I had the chance to sneak down close and take a few pics of the show. Take a few minutes and discover for yourself just how great this band truly is! As they mentioned, you can find their music on all the streaming platforms, and yes, on Radio Texas LIVE every Sunday evening from 7P-12midnight on “The Ozarks Best Country” 105.1 The Bull!
