There is good and bad news when it comes to buying your Thanksgiving Day meal this year.

Your budget will see give and take for the 2023 big meal.

The good news is turkey prices, have dropped!  Average prices runs to $1.27 per pound, which is a significant decrease from last year. It looks like  a healthier turkey population , no bird flu, and improved logistics are part of the reason.

However, don’t count your savings just yet. Side dishes, including those irresistible pumpkin pies, might see a price hike. Yikes!

Last year, a Thanksgiving meal for ten cost an average of $64.05.   Don’t be a turkey, shop around when you can.
