The skies in December  are usually clear and crisp and if you love to stargaze, there is plenty to see.

Meteor showers, satellites, planets, and a full moon can be seen with the naked eye this month.

You can see Venus on December 9, Saturn will be visible on December 17, and  Jupiter can be seen December 21 and 22.

Look for the “Cold”  full moon the day after Christmas, December 26.

If you love to watch for “falling stars,” the Geminid Meteor shower begins December 21 and runs through December 23. Possibly 50 meteors per hour can be expected.

Enjoy the night show in December!
