Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist share the story of how the band got together, living in Austin, and some of their more recent projects. The guys got together performing their own sets at a local “jam session” in an Austin club. The Wednesday night showcase was billed as “The Good Time Supper Club”. A misprint in a local paper called the act “The Heathens” and it stuck. Drummer John Chipman joined the band in 2007, and Keyboardist Trevor Nealon, who played in the studio during the recording of both “One Foot in the Ether” and “Top Hat Crown & the Clapmaster’s Son”, joined the band in 2011 forming something resembling a local “Super Group.” Check out the video and find out more about this amazing band!
