The American Red Cross has put out a warning that their U.S. blood supply is at a “dangerously low” level.

The Red Cross is facing the worst blood shortage in over a decade and it could cause problems at hospitals if blood is not readily available for those that need it.

You can donate blood Saturday or Sunday at the Springfield Blood Donations center at 313 E. Battlefield from 8 am until 4pm.
