The warmer weather has brought in a swarm of hummingbirds!  Those cute little birds will flit from flower to flower or feeder to feeder.

Want hummingbirds to flock to your feeder? Here is a great way to invite them in.

When putting up your feeder make sure its close or near flowers that they be already visiting. Have perch areas such as trees or shrubs available. Keep the feeder out of the sun.

Use a red colored feeder but DO NOT put red food coloring in the water. The colored water is not good for the birds.

What do you put in the feeder?

1 part refined table sugar, 4 parts warm water
Mix together until the sugar has dissolved

Replace the water/nectar  before it spoils

Make sure feeder doesn’t leak. It could attract bees and ants.
