The United States Postal Service could be raising the price of a first class postage stamp to 73 cents very soon!
The proposal, if approved, will be the 4th increase within an 18 month span for postage stamps.
This may be the time for stocking up on First-Class Mail Forever stamps. According to USPS, “First-Class Mail Forever stamps cost $0.68 (the current 1 oz price) and will never expire, even if the First-Class postage rate goes up.”
If the proposal gets the green light the increase for postage stamps will have a target date of July 14, 2024.
